Mooloolaba Outrigger Canoe Club offers sponsors an opportunity to promote their business to thousands of outrigger paddlers at various regattas and to the general public on Mooloolaba’s beaches, across Australia and around the world. We also enjoy fantastic support from local media. See our Media page for links to print and online media coverage over the past few years.
Canoes are on the waters of Mooloolaba seven days a week as crews run through training sessions. This is great exposure to both visitors and locals. Your sponsorship will help support club activities and club members – including our valued juniors, who are the future of our growing sport.

Team Building and Corporate Events
Want to arrange a team building event for your organisation?
Mooloolaba Outrigger Canoe Club is heavily involved in the annual Water life event on the Sunshine Coast.
This is a fun event that raising funds for Wishlist, EndED and our “No Limits” Adaptive Paddlers. Outrigger canoe paddling is a fantastic team building experience that incorporates fitness and fun. If your business, group or organisation is looking for a great team building activity on the water, please contact us to discuss putting together an event to suit your needs.
We will provide all equipment and instruction.
Why outrigger paddling?
If paddlers in an OC6 (six person outrigger canoe) don’t work together as one, they will quickly find themselves going nowhere – fast.
Blending together is key, communication is crucial, and putting egos aside a necessity.
One person alone cannot paddle an OC6 effectively.
When it all comes together, the boat simply hums… It feels effortless
